Wind Estate is thrilled to close the year by celebrating two major achievements that mark significant milestones for Wind Estate, strengthening our presence in both Denmark and Scotland.

Hallendrup Wind Farm – A Significant Step Forward

After years of dedicated development work, we are pleased to announce that we have now reached FID (Final Investment Decision) for Wind Estate’s share of the Hallendrup Wind Farm, located south of Randers near Ølst. The project comprises six new Vestas V136-4.5 MW turbines, which will deliver modern and efficient wind energy to the region. Wind Estate has acquired full ownership of the project at COD (Commercial Operation Date) and will become the sole owner of the wind farm when it enters operation – expectedly in spring 2026.

On-site work will begin at the start of the new year with the dismantling of four existing turbines.

Brownhill Wind Farm – Strengthening Our Presence in Scotland

Another exciting milestone is that we have also reached FID on Brownhill Wind Farm in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, a project which – Like Hallendrup Wind Farm – is also a homegrown Wind Estate project.

With two new Enercon E-138 4.26 MW turbines, the project will double Wind Estate’s operational capacity in Scotland to 16.8 MW, contributing to our strategy of expanding our portfolio of self-developed projects.
Brownhill Wind Farm is expected to be operational by mid-2026.

Both projects represent another significant step toward our ambition of promoting sustainability and advancing the green transition through robust project development. We look forward to beginning construction and witnessing the remarkable work behind these projects come to life.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to these achievements – together, we are driving the green transition forward!
